Behind The Vinyl: Sarah McLachlan “Possession”

Sarah McLachlan joins us at boom 97.3 to talk about the making of Possession the title track from her breakthrough 1993 album Fumbling Towards Ecstasy. She shares how the song was inspired by the unsettling experience of being stalked, and how she channeled that fear and intensity into the music. Sarah reflects on the writing process, the atmosphere she wanted to capture in the studio, and what the song has meant to her over the years — all while we play it straight from the vinyl.
