Canadian icon Sarah McLachlan joins us in the boom 97.3 studios to go Behind The Vinyl and share the story behind her brand new single, “Better Broken.”

Sarah talks about the inspiration behind the song, the emotions that shaped the lyrics, and what it’s like returning with new music after such a legendary career.

Better Broken is Sarah’s tenth studio album, releasing September 19, 2025 via Concord Records. It’s her first album of full original material in over a decade. The album was produced by Tony Berg and Will Maclellan, and recorded largely at Sound City Studios in Los Angeles.
