It was 50 years ago today, Sgt. Pepper’s began to play!
June 1st, 1967 the Beatles released one of the most historic albums ever with cover art, that to this day, is mimicked worldwide. The concept art was so good, it won a Grammy Award for Best Album Cover. Sgt. Peppers had it all: the art, the music, the writing, the voices, the production… everything. The album broke the mold and set a new standard for music.
