There's an old saying that I like to live by and try to instill into my daughter's mind... "There are no such things as problems, only opportunities".  

Rather than hunker down and accept defeat or get bummed out about a situation not turning out the way you had hoped, look for a positive and learn from it or "turn lemons into lemonade".  It's a particularly handy saying to have when you are in management.

Huang Guofu, aged 41, lost both of his arms at the age of four after suffering electric shocks. Born in China, he developed an interest in painting at the age of 12. He started small but dreamed big, painting pictures he saw in his textbooks by using his feet.
