I did my share of camping when I was a teenager.  I had the crappy tent where if you touched the top of it from the inside it would leak. I remember how disgusting the interior of the tent was after a day, smelling like a campfire for a week, and cooking food over an open flame.  

It was an experience, but now that I'm older I think a more "comfortable" approach is the route I'll be taking when I camp again.  Like, a GOOD tent (if I have to) or a trailer with refrigerated food, not a cooler.
