When I was a kid we had a great little spot up North beside a lake.  There were 2 small cottages; one main cottage and one for guests.  It was the best time ever!

I'd spend the whole summer up there with my grandma and anyone else that decided to pop by for a week or so.  Fishing, swimming, boat rides and trips to the dump!

The trips to the dump were memorable because not only would it be an opportunity to smash old TV sets with boulders (it was the 70s, I was a kid... what do you want?), but there would also be bears in the dump.

Back then, we thought nothing of seeing the bears in the garbage.  It was kind of cool.  Unfortunately, it's not so cool today.  There are all sorts of bad things that can happen as a result of this, not just to us... but to the bears.  This video is a perfect example.  It's amazing actually when you finally figure out what the hell she's doing with the ladder.
