What 200 CALORIES look like...
As I get older I find shedding the "extra" weight to be challenging (not impossible). There are a lot of temptations to avoid and when 90% of the stuff you order is already SUPER SIZED, it makes it even harder to eat what you need and toss the rest. You paid for it, you feel you should finish it.
I'm trying to be diligent with what I put in my body, making sure my portions are realistic and that the carb intake is relatively low.
I've found something interesting, thanks to Pinterest, that gives me a better idea of a "realistic" amount of carbs and keep in handy as a reference on my iPhone (I've saved the picture to my camera roll).
I simply want to be healthy and maintain a body weight that isn't out of hand, where I can be healthy, play with my child and not get winded, fit into my clothes and not worry about a double chin when I get a picture taken of me.
