This makes it all come rushing back. I know I'll never forget where I was and what I was doing when I first heard the news.

Hey. I didn't now where to leave this comment so I thought I'd leave it here. I just wanted to thank you for posting this and for taking a moment on the radio to talk about 9/11. I've noticed over the last few years that today's events have been slipping out of peoples memories, where I am anyway, and that a lot of people in their teens and younger adults that I know disregard it altogether. Today is my birthday but to me that is second to remembering the people who died 11 years ago. To me that is something we should always remember.

Thanks so much for taking that moment,

    Stephanie

Thank you Stu for that amazing clip of radio and tv spots happening that day. I too will never forget leaving my daycare playroom where the kids were watching treehouse, going upstairs to make tea and hearing about the first bomb threat over the radio, I ran into my living room to put on CNN and watched the entire thing in horror. Kids found me crying on the couch as I watched terror strike New York City and thought of not onlly all of the lives lost that day but all of their families and friends that will forever be reminded of the loss and the tragedy of September 11, 2001

That was very chilling and you have to remember where you werer....I was watching Breakfast Television and saw the 2nd plane hit. ......Prayers still go to teh families of the vistims and of the first responders who are no suffering effects of the toxins taken in during the search and clean-up......

    Hi,

I'm a firefighter and I'll never forget that day for the rest of my life. I went to the 9/11 memorial site this summer, very powerful and emotional. I think this tradegy just like others over the many many years will become less of a thing and just be talked about if someone else brings it up. I know for some it will never be forgotten.

Tears are in my eyes.....hard to believe it was that long ago...seems like yesterday. Time doesn't heal, it hurts just as much.
