Remember that scene in "Raiders of the Lost Ark" in which a bad guy confronts Indy in a marketplace.  He starts showing off all his fancy sword moves to psych him out.  But instead of engaging in battle, Indy just pulls out his pistol and shoots the guy.

It appears there was originally supposed to be a big fight scene between the two of them.  But Harrison Ford was sick at the time so they changed it to what we see on screen now.

In a five-disc "Indiana Jones" Blu-ray set coming out next week, there's footage of the fight scene being rehearsed.
