Whenever I'm mini golfing with my kids (or my juvenile friends), I've done this at least once: I'll stand over my putt and, in a whispered tone, say something like,

'Jeffries needs this to go through the windmill and into the clown's nose to make par and capture his first Canadian Open. There's the stroke and....he's done it!!!! The gallery goes crazy!!!!!'

Wouldn't it be great if that REALLY happened?

It did.

And it was amazing.
