Seinfeld's Hilarious Olympic Bit

Posted By: Maie Pauts · 8/1/2012 9:50:00 AM

Yesterday Michael Phelps won his 19th Olympic medal.  Amazing! He's now the most "medalled" Olympian in history, finally outdoing the record held for decades by Soviet Gynast Larisa Latynina who won 18 medals between 1956 and 1964.

Michael won Silver in his signature event the 200 meter Butterfly.  Had he won Gold in that event, he would have had another record as the first man to win Gold in an individual event in 3 straight Olympics.  And to think, he lost to South African Chad le Clos, by one twentieth of a second.  Yup ...  just one twentieth of a second!!!!

This reminded me of one of my fave Jerry Seinfeld bits.
