Have you heard about car2go? Last weekend one of my friends here at boom told me about this great new car rental service he used – I was intrigued.

At about 35 cents per minute, you can rent a car from any of the hundreds of Green P spots across the city… given that one is parked there. You can rent one spontaneously, or reserve it for a specific time. I asked him about the regular things like gas and insurance. His response: “All covered. I don’t even need to gas it up when I’m done!”. Wow!

 What sets car2go apart from other services he notes, is that there is no need to perform a round trip with their service – unlike some of the other car sharing initiatives around Toronto. Check out  their promotional video below… it’s a great service to check out!
