June 20th marked the first day of summer for 2012. With the summer in full swing, you'll definitely want to check out some of your favourite bands - hopefully outside basking in the warm temperatures like we've been having lately.

The band Coldplay has taken the concert experience to a whole new level. For their Mylo Xyloto tour, they've been filling the venues with colour by giving all their concert goers a radio-controlled wristband which flashes to the beats of their music.

According to the band, an estimated $640,000 is being spent a night to supply fans with this technology. You definitely need to check out the video below for the full experience - skip to 1:15 for the magic.
