Let's go back to the late 80s... when the Skydome was built. They started building it in October 1986 and finished it June 1989 - two and a half years, showcased in this time lapse video. Still way faster than it will take the guys to finish the balconies on my apartment building.

I remember when SkyDome (Rogers Centre) first opened and I would go and sit there and stare while the dome opened - 20 minutes... and I enjoyed every last second. I still love going to the dome. I'm going tonight for the Jays / Mets game. They had a great sale on - $39 for a seat in the outfield (200 section) complete with a hotdog and drink. Normally a drink and a hotdog is close to $39 bucks, so this is a sweet deal!
