Album Review

In 1998, the M.I.L. Multimedia label issued The Best of Cloud One, which simply paired Cloud One with Funky Disco Tracks of Cloud One while adding Queen Yahna's "Ain't It Time," a stray nugget from the house of P&P (one of Patrick Adams and Peter Brown's labels). Although it's bizarre to call this disc The Best of Cloud One, someone getting into the group for the first time is in good hands because just about everything of note is here, save for "Patti Duke" (available on Counterpoint's Disco Juice) and "Don't Let Me Pass This Rainbow By" (available on BBE's Disco Spectrum 2). Some of the most brilliant underground disco can be found on this disc.
