Album Review

Mo' Strings Attached is an excellent effort from guitarist Ron Eschete's trio. With fine support from bassist Todd Johnson and drummer Paul Humphrey, Eschete plays a high-quality repertoire that includes "East of the Sun," his own "Blues Bruise," "I'm Walkin'," and "Love Dance." The music is primarily straight-ahead bop with some soul-jazz and Brazilian rhythms included on some selections. Overall, this set gives listeners an excellent example of the playing of Eschete.
