The California sun mixed with mysticism and some outrageous sound experiments (all with a great beat). A failed effort to renew the group's sound with a change of venue (to Holland) that is salvaged largely by the presence of one great rock number ("Sail on, Sailor") and a conceptual piece ("California Saga") that has a phenomenal middle section.
