It's quite the story - and it only popped into my head because i read that he was in town for TIFF.

Don't worry - i'm not about to show off or name drop...you'll see by the story the joke is definitely on me.

Ready? ok. So i was working on the movie Hairspray - singing and such - very cool job. One day i was down at the Toronto Film Studios where rehearsals were taking place and i was assisting the on set vocal coach at the time. She was in her coaching room with John Travolta and i was outside the door on my knees sorting through some sheet music. The door opened and Mr Travolta said, "Meredith, have you met Chris?" I popped up (still on my knees) only to basically graze Walken's crotch with my nose. We all laughed. I froze. "No, no i haven't" i squeaked. Mr Walken graciously held out his hand while i still remained frozen at crotch level.

LOL. oh the glamour.
