Kittypause
Finally, after 3 months of having to keep our kids' cat inside, we got her spayed at the SPCA (alot cheaper than a regular vet, but we were on a waiting list for her appointment).
Last spring we let her outside and she was instantly pounced-upon and mounted by the neighbourhood TomCat. Now, one litter of kittens, 3 months and 1 spay later, she is free to go outside whenever she wants.
Before she got fixed, she struck up quite a close relationship with 'Big Red', the TomCat; they enjoyed doing, ya know...intimate stuff together, if you know what I mean.
Well, now that she's been fixed, her The TomCat was in for a rude awakening.
The other day, we let her outside as 'Big Red' was waiting for her on the front lawn for a reunion. She went up to him, swatted him across the side of the head and trotted away. The poor TomCat just stood there, as if to say, "WTF?!!!
Sound familiar?
