Disco legend Donna Summer died Thursday at age 63 after a battle with cancer.

The Grammy-winning singer had a pile of hits stemming from the 1970s through to the 1980s.  "Last Dance," "She Works Hard for the Money" and "Bad Girls."

During the peak of her career, Donna Summer picked up five Grammy Awards and six American Music Awards, and charted three multi-platinum albums.

She is survived by her husband, three daughters, and four grandchildren.
